It was never a question whether it will connect for audio input. It was never a question whether my dv8 / Win7 saw Bluetooth devices. High enough, usually they either donate to the Boy Scouts paper drive, or fix it (if the Scouts don't come by first). The computer is working well enough, so this is nothing but a bug report. When the BPDDMB problem first occured on dv8, there was no Bluetooth device in the building. On other Windows machines (and automobiles) without issue. It just SAYS it's not connected, and reports the driver as missing. The error happens even if Bluetooth networking is off, and no Bluetooth device isįunny that it can connect correctly, and play music or download photos. I uninstalled and reinstalled drivers including the iPhone driver. I tried to update the drivers, but it said the drivers were fine. There is a HP driver and a Microsoft driver already up and running. I'm of the belief the driver it's looking for does not actually exist, that it is some type of virtual driver.

OK, I have a HP notebook computer with factory Bluetooth and Win7 Pro purchased in Jan/Feb.Ī week or so ago, it started getting the Bluetooth Peripheral Driver Error.
